Engine History
The Connecticut Antique Machinery Association (CAMA) owns a Wolverine marine diesel engine that has been adapted for use as a stationary generator. It was used for many years at the Thurston Ice, Oil & Coal Co. of Naugatuck, Connecticut. The company installed it in their ice manufacturing plant and connected it to a refrigeration compressor and later an alternator that powered other refrigeration units.
