Engine History
The schooner Sherman Zwicker is powered by a six-cylinder Fairbanks-Morse diesel engine. The ship was built in 1942 and participated in the Grand Banks dory fishery until the mid-1960s. Today she is used as a mobile museum to teach about the fishery and sail-training.
