Engine History
The tugboat Sea Lion VI is powered by a DMG-8 Enterprise diesel engine manufactured in 1953, which was salvaged from the tug Active after it sank in 1956. This DMG-8 replaced the Sea Lion VI's original McKie and Baxter triple expansion marine steam engine.
